The Late Edition Dancers Dancing Tour Schedule Fall 2007 & Spring 2008
Experience the pure energy, elegant beauty and innovative choreography of Dancers Dancing in a new evening of contemporary dance created by Artistic Director Judith Garay. Sourced from hundreds of photos of people as captured by mass print media, The Late Edition reflects and magnifies our contemporary lives. Simmering with new movement ideas interpreted by the five company dancers, it resonates with the fractured and fast paced energy of the world in the twenty-first century.
Strong in passion and expression, Dancers Dancing is an experience for everyone who moves through life.
Dancers Dancing is excited to present a mixed program featuring choreography by Judith Garay, including "TWO, The Late Edition," "Trio of Duets, " " ONE, The Catwalk" and "Quicksilver,".

4 WINDS: The Winter Project (2004)
Choreography: Anik Bouvrette, Judith Garay, Santee Smith and Wen Wei Wang - A full length evening of new work in five parts.

Dancers Dancing has commissioned Canadian choreographers Anik Bouvrette, Santee Smith and Wen Wei Wang to join Judith Garay in exploring the universal theme of winter drawing on their own diverse backgrounds and cultural origins. A theme that speaks to all Canadians in its many forms: climatically, metaphorically, culturally; winter is a Canadian condition and shared Canadian experience that will be explored in all its magnificence, cruelty and beauty. | |
